“Never before has there been a greater need for an alternative vision for society, with the mainstream media co-opted by a small group of billionaires to project their ideals of what society should be for their own narrow selfish interests. How many property shows are there? How many shows are there promoting celebrity culture? The exhibition will feature ‘Right to Protest’ posters by graphic artists, including artists from alternative storytelling magazine Left Cultures.
As part of the ‘Right to Protest’ the Museum of UnRest has invited artists to submit A2 posters to its ongoing APT ART (short for apartment art) programme with the David Graeber Institute.
The brief asked artists to submit a poster that expresses ‘The Right to Protest’ – not an easy ask!
