︎Jo Barnfield was born in a barn and raised on the Inland Waterways, now based in the fair city of Bath U.K. She’s a senior lecturer in Art & Design at University of the West of England and can mostly be found teaching / making / skating / sleeping. Otherwise she’ll be over at Unit 16 print department at Rockaway Park with a stable of Adana Letterpress printers, Big Dave the jerry rigged etching press, a Farley proofing press and a rapidly expanding collection of vintage and Antique moveable metal type.
Jo is a member of British Print Society and entirely conversant with Fine Art Printing but she is also a fully paid up member of the school of bad printing.
